Lemon Oil has antiseptic-like properties and contains compounds that have been studied for their effects on immune function. Potent Virus Killer According to Jean Valnet, M.D., the vaporized essence of lemon can kill meningococcus bacteria in fifteen minutes, typhoid bacilli in one hour, Staphylococcus aureus in two hours, and Pneumococcus bacteria with in three hours. Even a 0.2% solution of Lemon Oil can kill diphtheria bacteria in 20 minutes and in active tuberculosis bacteria. As if that was not enough for this SUPER ESSENTIAL OIL, it is also a skin cleanser and a superb wrinkle remover. What is it that makes lemon oil so powerful? It is anti- infectious, disinfectant, antibacterial (spores), antiseptic, antiviral, vitamin P-like action for improving microcirculation, promotes white blood cell formation, end dramatically improves immune function. Other uses: Lemon Oil may be beneficial for anxiety, blood pressure, digestive problems, respiratory infections, sore throats. It helps promote leukocyte formation, improves memory, strengthens nails, cleans the skin, and promotes a sense of well- being. It may also help brighten a pale, dull complexion by removing the dead skin cells. It serves as an effective insect repellent and works well in removing gum, wood stain, oil, and grease spots. Gene Davis writes, "By the way, I've found that it (lemon essential oil) works great on killing the fungus on strawberries. Just add a few drops to a bowl of water and rinse them right in the basket. A couple of drops on the berries once they've been cut enhances their taste. Let them set over night. Whoa!"
